Billericay Town FC are on the way up thanks to Glen Tamplin

Billericay IT have been following the Town’s football team even more closely since the takeover by Glen Tamplin last year. There has been a remarkable sequence of events and transformation that has seen the club’s fortunes turned around in a very short space of time.

The transformation has seen a totally re-built ground, a great new playing surface, an influx of new good quality players, increased support, better in-ground facilities and a true spirit and belief from the club and supporters that better times have started and a journey has begun.

Billericay IT have so far seen three out of the 5 league matches this season away to Dulwich Town, at home to Burgess Hill and away to Thurrock. The Billericay IT owner, Paul Alexander was out the country for the first two matches so could not attend. These three matches have seen 14 goals scored by the Blues against 2 conceded. We are now top of the league and looking fitter and stronger than ever. Glen Tamplin started this all off and what an adventure!!
